Development is one of the most effective methods of reaching communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our development projects over the years have seen whole communities transformed not only physically but spiritually as well.

With the addition of Field Workers who are trained to meet development needs, IDES will be able to support communities and bring sustainability that will lead to success both physically and spiritually.
IDES U.S. Disaster Response Team is currently responding to Hurricane Helene. We are currently staged out of Live Oak, Florida with Live Oak Christian Church. We also staged out of Elizabethton, TN with First Christian Church. Our capacity for East Tennessee volunteers is currently full but we need volunteers in Florida for the coming weeks. Our U.S. Disaster Response Team has been in contact with churches in the areas affected by Hurricane Milton. We are preparing to deploy a response team to those areas in Florida. Please continue to pray with us for the safety of those affected by Hurricane Milton. We will continue to update you through our Social Media accounts and website in the days ahead.

We provide relief when disasters strike here in the US and work internationally with churches, mission partners, and our own international field workers. Whether relief is needed due to a natural or man-made event, we will continue to respond when disasters strike here in the U.S. and internationally working with churches and mission partners to Rebuild communities and Restore Hope through Disciple-Making efforts.
Our prayer and focus is that our work in Development and Disaster Response will lead to Disciple-Making.

In everything we do, our priority is to share the love of Christ with those who are hurting. Through efforts like Integral Disciple-Making, the Rick Jett Leadership Fund, bible distributions and translations, we hope to make disciples who make disciples.
